India-Bangladesh bilateral trade has witnessed a steady growth over the past few years. This has resulted in a welcome increase in the number of business enquiries with the Economic & Commercial Wing of the High Commission of India, Dhaka. 

There was, however, need for a permanent platform to assist businessmen who were looking for new opportunities to expand their trade. The BUSINESS MATCHMAKING WEBSITE is an effort to help such businessmen widen their outreach. The overall objective of this endeavour is to enhance bilateral trade between the two countries.

The website also serves as a platform for the businessmen of both countries to advertise their products and services. 

A photo of the products can be uploaded and a short description of the product and profile of the company can be posted to help convey the idea better. 

Users further have an opportunity to search larger business databases in India. 

There are future plans to link this service with SMS alert regarding business enquiries/ tenders advertised, at no cost.

The use of this service is restricted to businessmen in India and Bangladesh who have a valid trade license/ are registered for trade in products and/or services.

 Steps involved in this FREE service
The steps involved are SIMPLE and the service is FREE. 
A one time registration is required after which a username and password would be generated and sent to your email address. You can thereafter login and search for products of your interest.

Kindly have the following data ready to register:

• Trade Licence/ Trade Registration details- number, date etc.
• Passport Number of businessman (in case of Corporate, the passport number of the authorized individual)

 Scanned copy of the following documents is needed (Kindly keep them ready for upload in the computer used for registration. The scanned copy should be in gif format of size 800 x 800 pixels) :

• In case of Corporation/Joint Venture, letter from company's competent authority authorizing the individual to list the company and operate the ID in this web site
